Beech wood

At KGS Krajnc, we offer beech firewood from our own production, with the raw material coming exclusively from Slovenian forests. Beech firewood is derived from the sustainable management of forests in Slovenia and is an optimal choice from an ecological and economic point of view compared to fossil fuels.

We produce firewood that can be 25cm, 33cm or 45 cm long. Small firewood is especially suitable for smaller heating appliances. 33 cm long firewood is suitable for most home heating appliances.

We sell beech firewood in bulk. One unit is one cubic meter of firewood in bulk, which is approximately 0.70 - 0.75 of one stacked cubic meter of beech firewood.

Wood chips

The company produces wood chips from wood biomass. We make wood chips from cellulose coniferous wood and round logs of deciduous trees. Coniferous and deciduous trees are stored separately.

We also grind wood and deliver wood chips in the area of northeastern Slovenia.
We supply wood biomass to the district heating boiler room in Lenart. We use it in our own boiler room to dry corn, and we also supply it to differently sized systems in Slovenia and abroad.

In 2019, we obtained the PEFC Chain of Custody certification. The PEFC Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization working to promote sustainable forest management. The PEFC certification thus guarantees that the products originate from forests with sustainable management.
